What gets me though, is people who make movies from movies on here and post them somewhere else

Huh? I did that. Last week, I posted some of my clipfilms that were already here from a couple of years ago to Youtube to see if it would drive up hits to my sites. Long before I posted there, the less-than-useful reviews I mentioned were appearing here. They just got to me the other day because I saw so many of them at once.

And Spuzz, I certainly wasn't referring to your reviews when I mentioned incoherent posts. Yours are the good kind that have steered me to many cool downloads.

Oh I know, and of course, I certainly wasnt referring to you about your output here, which CONTINUES to be amazing.

But curiously, I seem to have a stalker here. Because I am now reviewing the feature films on here, and pasting the same review on IMDB. Someone keeps giving my reviews on there negative feedback. It's both annoying and amusing. Wonder who on earth is doing that.

I think it might be someone.. not on anymore..

I do not now anything about you reviews, but I am at fault like many others for posting videos at google, YouTube, VMIX,, Ifilm, and a few others that I have forgotten along the way. ALthough I think the is the best place to upload your films to (the quality you originally produce for your film stays with it here, where if you place it elsewhere they change the quality to make a small flash file for their site.), I have wondered how other audiences would react to the same film on other sites.

Surprisingly, I usually get more downloads and streams at other sites than I do here. However, it still has not done any good for the film, I created at the beginning of this year, "The Great Dope Hunt" ( I do not know why this film is going no where on the internet. I know it has poor video quality and poor sound quality; however, it is te first film I made (with my brother D.A.) that quickly became an underground DVD hit for us in Indiana. If you were to take all the streams and downloads combined from all the sites on the internet, the film has been seen on the internet around 2,000 times. However, we have already given out close to 350 DVD copies to various individuals around the state. And almost everytime, we hear the same results.

The original person we give it to will watch it and after the opening 6-7 minutes they claim they really get into the film and enjoy the entire thing. Next they give it their neighbors and friends, and the same thing happens again. There was one copy we passed out to a co-worker who lived in Frankton, Indiana. She claimed that when she brought it home, her sixteen year old son grabbed it up and watched it. Then he took it to a friends house and watched it again. She said she did not see the demo we gave her for over two and a half weeks. When it was returned to her she claimed that nearly everybody at the Frankton high School had watched and made copies of the DVD for further distribution amoung their peers.

I have never seen anything like this happen with one of my films. So I did start placing it elsewhere hoping to get better results from the downloads here. But nothing I attempt appears to be working (including the previews I created for the film). So I will appologize to anyone who thinks they are getting bad reviews from other video patrons at other sites, it might be my fault for chasing after that winning feeling and respect from members of the internet community like I have found at my own home of Indiana.
